More about Retrieval

In the film Retrieval, Nick Breckenridge recalls an important conversation he had with his daughter Amber. Her mysterious disappearance leaves an emptiness which Nick tries to fill with memories of their life together. As he reflects on their past and plans for his future, Nick's memory of their last conversation progressively changes.

Retrieval pairs a short narrative film with a video learning module featuring commentary by noted memory experts: Robert Bjork, Elizabeth Loftus, and Daniel Schacter. Retrieval represents a brand new approach to introducing the topic of memory in a psychology class and encouraging long-term retention and knowledge integration of key
memory concepts.

The Retrieval DVD includes several different length cuts of the film and a variety of ways to use learning module material to make it suitable for use in any introductory or cognitive psychology classroom.
